Job Description for Tech Lead
Job Location ; Mumbai
The work requires significant creativity & judgment from an individual.
ƒ¯ You will be designing and building reliable, scalable and high performing enterprise & online systems.
ƒ¯ You will work on building the next generation of extremely large & complex products using state-of-the-art J2EE, XML & web based technologies
ƒ¯ You will be responsible for handling multi- project /activities
ƒ¯ You will, Deliver on time, by extracting the best from your team and managing the client expectations.
ƒ¯ You will direct team members with setup, development and issue resolution.
ƒ¯ You will work on the core architecture and will participate in design & architectural decisions
ƒ¯ You will participate in writing use cases, validating architectures, produce design documents, perform code reviews, and continuously find ways of improving designs & the team's productivity
ƒ¯ You will be able to undertake full systems design, including technical requirements gathering, specifications, and sometimes coding complex modules
ƒ¯ You will undertake design reviews and offer feedback on architecture and design issues, as well as system integration, performance, and scalability issues
ƒ¯ You will be able to troubleshoot problems for the team in their daily work activities
ƒ¯ You will be required to stay abreast with emerging technologies and industry best practices
ƒ¯ You will be able to handle multiple priorities and possess excellent time management skills
Desired Profile Essential Technical skills
ƒ¯ 4 to 8 years hands on development experience in Java /J2EE application
ƒ¯ Object-oriented programming and multi-tiered application development experience in an enterprise or online applications setup
Exposure & Experiences in any of the below mentioned skills)
ƒ¯ Hibernate / Struts/Swing/EJB
ƒ¯ Web technologies such as HTTP, JSP, XML, AJAX, JavaScript etc
ƒ¯ SOAP / XML design/development
Essential Soft skills
ƒ¯ Analytical and problem solving skills
ƒ¯ Good communication and documentation skills are required
ƒ¯ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
ƒ¯ Self-motivated, able to work independently. Requires minimal oversight
ƒ¯ Outstation candidates willing to relocate to New Bombay are also welcome
Other Desirable skills
Good understanding of standard design patterns.
Understanding of the onshore / offshore model.
Strong project leadership and management skills.
Excellent knowledge of software engineering principles and practices.
