A social entrepreneurship that was formed in 2006, after having been disappointed by the charitable approach taken towards disability it set out to do things differently.
Persons with disabilities bring to the table a large untapped potential, both as consumers of products and services and as human resource for the (high growth) manpower crunched industry. AccessAbility helps mitigate the structural, attitudinal and policy barriers which currently prevent the organisations from recognising that potential enhancing their socio-economic value.
AccessAbility offers a range of professional services such as Disability Employment and Post Employment Services, Disability Sensitization Training, Architectural Access Consultancy, Policy Auditing etc.
AccessAbility, registered under the Indian Partnership Act, is a completely self funded entrepreneurship where no grants or donations are accepted. We believe that responsible service providers and employers will recognise the long term social, ethical and business mileage in valuing their disabled clients and employees, and should therefore be willing to invest in making provisions for them. AccessAbility provides professional services of being a one stop interface for the corporate sector to include people with disabilities as contributing clients and employees.

Mission – is to provide a platform for mainstreaming of people with disabilities by including them in all our environments, enabling them to be contributing members of society and empowering them with information that will give them an opportunity to be out and about.

acebook has been revolutionary in several regards, social enterprises like ours in India are yet to harness the real potential of such second generation applications on the internet to generate greater impacts. Most of us (social enterprises) still continue to use old and almost extinct (web) technologies to interact with our users/visitors online. Facebook with its rapidly growing popularity and a cult like status is almost impossible to stay away from.
