· The Database Designer has to be able to define the tables, indexes, views, constraints, triggers, stored procedures, table spaces or storage parameters, and other database-specific constructs needed to store, retrieve, and delete persistent objects. This information has to be maintained in the DB models, DB generation scripts and others.

· Involved in designing & sizing the OLTP database (600 Tables) for performance, using the best practices of data modeling techniques.

· Have suggested / implemented Oracle Rule Engine so that end users can create / modify business rules which will be reflected in to system immediately which means low maintenance cost and more flexibility

· Have given a training session to development team on data modeling concepts.
· Involved in defining database change management process to fit in an iterative software development project.

· Involved in developing the data migration strategy to migrate data from all the data sources of existing system.

· Managed the team for collecting mapping specifications required for data migration from client/customer using effective communication skills.

· Involved in Performance Tuning of the SQL and instance using Oracle tools like Oracle SQL Analyze, Oracle Expert, Oracle Index Tuning wizard, Quest Spotlight on Oracle, Quest SQLab Vision (SQLab Expert) and achieved successfully performance goals of sub second response time

· Have worked with Oracle Enterprise Manager and had suggested / used the 9I new features like Hierarchical queries which has simplified the development effort for displaying data in hierarchy

· Worked with Export, import, SQL loader, MS Access, TOAD, PLSQL developer

· Worked with data modeling tools, Rational Rose and Erwin

· Should be strong at DB and Schema Designing

· Should have experience in Database Tunning.

· Good Experience in Module Designing and Designing Code.

Ø Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or marketing or equivalent education and experience

Ø 4 + years experience with selling IT services.

Ø Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ø A proven track record in preferably IT sales in to the MR, Retail, FMCG and ICT Industry.

Ø Onsite experience to any of the above region would be an added advantage.
