CSAD R&D – the fastest growing R&D division in Avaya is around a third of the overall R&D population in India. This team creates solutions that are used by our customers to better communicate and serve their own end customers. They extend to areas of self service products (using voice recognition and text to speech technologies) to assisted service products (using multiple media channels of voice, video, email, web chat, text messaging, etc) to outbound service products (using advanced heuristic techniques to maximize productivity, customer satisfaction and agent utilization) and advanced reporting and analytics products. In all of these areas, CSAD R&D have complete ownership of multiple product – which means that everything that falls between the initial step of requirement gathering to the final step of shipping the golden bit build to the manufacturing partner to make the product generally available (GA!) are handled in India. Full lifecycle product experience and responsibility! In other areas, CSAD R&D is partnering with other R&D sites in US and Germany to build bleeding edge products using new age technologies and techniques like SIP, SOA, SaaS and others, along with the latest innovations in Web2, .NET and others.

Modifies, tests and debugs vendor supplied utilities, packages and engineering releases to better suit an operating environment. Assists in the definition and programming of complex software, such as utility programs, job control language, macros, and subroutines.
