Job Description:
Our client is a Services company providing leading-edge solutions for the aerospace and defense industry. We are looking for agile software engineers to help develop commercial applications using JAVA. The selected candidate will be creating, maintaining, and testing Java/Swing thick client applications, as well as Java/JSP web applications.
This position will be required to work India-US overlap hours (2pm-11pm IST) or (1pm – 10pm IST) depending on US daylight savings.

Type of experience required:
• Minimum of 5-7 years programming experience in JAVA
• Experience with Java for thick-client and web applications
• Good knowledge of UML and object-oriented analysis, design, and programming techniques
• Experience with multi-tiered architectures and familiarity with common J2EE frameworks such as Struts, Spring and Hibernate.
Skills Desired:
• Good knowledge of developing application using JAVA/J2EE
• Strong XML development knowledge
• Advanced expertise with Java/J2EE, Swing, JavaScript, HTML, XML, and SQL
• Strong problem solving skills
• Integrity, ambition, drive, passion, confidence, dedication, hard working – ALL A MUST

Education Desired/Required:
• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Information Technology from a well-reputed academic institute
